Organizations Involved with Orphan Care

Bethany Christian Services

Bethany Christian Services is widely known as an adoption agency, but their Christian care extends to helping abused and neglected children around the world, people struggling with unplanned pregnancies, and a multitude of other challenges. Christian foster care is also a part of Bethany’s ministry because we believe that every child deserves a loving home. Monthly orientations are held for those interested in adoption.

Christian World Adoption

Christian World Adoption’s primary mission is to serve the children of the world as they seek to provide permanent families who will love them, nurture them, and care for them. While they facilitate adoptions, their calling is also to help improve the conditions of orphans as they wait to be adopted. CWA offers adoption programs in China, Ethiopia, Russia, Guatemala, Kazakhstan Peru and Ukraine. Monthly seminars are held for those interested in adoption.

Compassion International

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Compassion helps more than 770,000 children in more than 20 countries.

My House

My House is a home near downtown Atlanta that cares for abused and medically fragile babies up to 4 years old. Opportunities to serve include volunteering an hour or two holding, feeding, and caring for the babies, as well as, reading to and playing with the toddlers.
